Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat has declared 2025 as a year of reforms to improve education, in pakistan announcing that the government has decided to distribute 10,000 laptops to students of private educational institutions as well.
Speaking about the performance of the Education Department, the minister said that, like the previous year, 2025 focused on strengthening the education sector. He revealed that the government eliminated 2 million ghost enrollments and addressed the teacher shortage through the rationalization of 26,000 teachers.
