Job Position
Assistant Manager Finance & Taxation
Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Tax management and compliance, preferably in a tax firm or similar role in the industry.
Responsibilities
Oversee and manage all sales tax, Income tax & PRA matters, ensuring compliance with the relevant laws and related regulations.
Develop and implement Sales tax, Income tax & PRA strategy and policy, ensuring statutory compliance and timely reporting.
Prepare Sales Tax Returns data, including Provincial Sales Tax Returns, in compliance with FBR and provincial authorities’ regulations.
Liaison with consultant on sales tax, Income tax & PRA returns, notices and related matters.
Handle sales tax, income tax & PRA audits, appeals, and other related proceedings.
Monitor and manage taxes risks and opportunities, ensuring timely resolution of issues with tax consultant and relevant authorities.
Liaison with consultant to ensure timely response to notices issued under various sections of the Tax Laws.
Prepare and submit documents for sales tax exemptions under relevant sections.
Coordinating with other departments (e.g., finance, accounting) on tax-related matters.
